|Security Level:||Medium Security Shredders||Size:||Departmental Shredders|
|Type:||Cross Cut Shredders||Model:||41614|
The Dahle 41614 cross cut shredder is a departmental shredder suitable for use among 10-15 people. The 41614 shreds paper, paper clips, staples, credit cards, and optical media. The paper shredder has a security rating of level 3 which makes it suitable to shred non-confidential documents.
The Dahle 41614 cross cut shredder features the advanced Smart Technology system to prevent accidental injuries. This technology stops shredding whenever you tap the cover of the shredder or when you say "Stop" thus making it a revolutionary voice recognizable shredder. Another safety feature of the paper shredder is that the shredder automatically stops shredder whenever it senses fingers nears the feed opening. The Dahle 41614 cross cut shredder automatically oils the cutting blades thus ensuring smooth shredding. The paper shredder features CleanTEC dust filtration system to remove dust around the cutting blades. The dust is forced to the back of the shredder where it is collected in a specialized filter. The paper shredder automatically reverses when excess papers have been placed in the feed opening thus preventing paper jams. When the paper shredder senses paper near the feed opening, it starts shredding, and stops shredding when there is no more paper inserted.
The Dahle 41614 cross cut shredder is a money saver as it reduces running costs when it places the shredder in sleep mode after few minutes of non-use, and shuts it down after 30 minutes of non-use. The paper shredder's chain driven motor ensures continuous shredding without stoppages. It comes with thermal protection to protect the motor from heating up. The Dahle 41614 cross cut shredder has a large 45 gallon bin that saves money as the bin won't be emptied regularly. The paper shredder stops shredding when the bin gets full. The Dahle 41614 cross cut shredder's steel cutting blades enable shredding of metal pieces and have a lifetime warranty. The 41614 has a rubber shock mounted between the shredder body and the cutting blades that results in less noise being produced by the paper shredder.

|Shredders Security Standards|
Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757. These levels have been defined under different considerations about information media and security required. For normal home use then a lower level of security is suitable. For an office where information such as personnel and wage documents are being disposed, then a higher level (cross cut shredder model) would be suitable.
