The Dahle 41622 cross cut shredder comes with Dahle's advanced Smart Technology system to prevent accidents. With this technology, the paper shredder stops shredding whenever its top cover is tapped or when one says "Stop", thereby making it a truly revolutionary voice recognizable shredder. The paper shredder automatically stops shredding when fingers come near the feed opening. The paper shredder automatically oils the cutting blades to optimize shredding. The system forces the dust to the back of the shredder where it is collected in a specialized filter.
The Dahle 41622 cross cut shredder reduces operational costs as it places the shredder in sleep mode after few minutes of non-use. The paper shredder comes with a chain driven motor that ensures continuous shredding without stoppages, and thermal protection for protection from motor heat up. The paper shredder has a large 45 gallon bin that also helps in reducing operational costs as the bin won't be emptied regularly, and the shredder stops shredding when the bin gets full. The Dahle 41622 cross cut shredder features steel cutting blades that shred metal pieces and come with a lifetime warranty. The paper shredder has a rubber shock mounted between the cutting blades and the body to minimize shredding noise. The Dahle 41622 cross cut shredder starts shredding when it senses paper near the feed opening, and stops shredding when there is no more paper inserted. The paper shredder automatically reverses the excess papers to prevent paper jams.

Dahle CleanTEC System Explained
|Shredders Security Standards|
Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757. These levels have been defined under different considerations about information media and security required. For normal home use then a lower level of security is suitable. For an office where information such as personnel and wage documents are being disposed, then a higher level (cross cut shredder model) would be suitable.

"I was impressed with your customer service. We just purchased a large shredder for our department and needed assistance with locating the correct part number. We used the online chat and the person was quick and gave us the information I needed. He first gave a wrong part number, however corrected himself within a short period of time and made me feel like he cared. We will use your business in the future and look forward to a long history."
"We bought a shredder from another company and had to send it back, that was a big mess, it didn't do what it said it would and then we bought this one, the original brand I wanted to purchase in the begining and glad that we did, it turned out to be a really great machine. Works really good and very quite! Everyone in the building was impressed with it and they like it."
