The shredder is a level 4 security shredder that protects confidential information. • It offers the SilentShred technology. This feature is a great feature for busy office areas that have many noisy office machines. It helps to create a more peaceful work environment. • It offers SafeSense technology. The machine has a feature that can sense when hands get a little too close to the feeding area. This great feature can prevent potential injuries. • It has an automatic shut off feature. The machine shuts itself off after 2 minutes of inactivity. I can reactivate the machine with the touch of a button, or by inserting paper. • It has a Jam Proof feature. The shredder indicates when I am over or under the shred capacity. This feature helps to expedite jobs. The machine also has a red light that indicates when I overfeed the machine so that I can remove excess pages. • It has a high security level. Level 4 security is excellent for protecting confidential information of clients. A level 3 is considered to be a great security level so a level 4 is added protection. • It has a 20-sheet capacity. I do not do a heavy amount of shredding so the 20-sheet capacity is excellent for my office. • It has a wide feeding area. The shredder has a 9.5-inch feeding area that can handle all of my jobs.
