The Powershred C-120C is a great investment for personal or business use. It is what I like to call a new age shredder. It has a nice design that does not look like traditional shredders, which was a bonus for me. I did have a few things about the shredder that I did not like, but there were many more things about the machine that I did like.
The pros of the machine include:• Cross-cut shredder – Cross cut shredders are the best way to protect confidential or sensitive information. This type of shredder takes the guesswork out of deciding if the materials are completely destroyed.• Turbo Jam Release button – This feature makes paper jams an easy task to overcome. One touch of a button eliminates the problem in a second.• Continuous Duty Motor – Users sometimes have to compromise on the continuous duty function, but not on this shredder. This feature ensures that I never have to shut down my shredding jobs to let the motor recover. The feature is a major plus for me.Here are the cons that I had with the machine:
• Small Shredding Capacity – The machine can only shred about 12-14 sheets at once. This is not a large number for a shredder in this price range. It is not a huge drawback because I just have to pace my shredding a little better. It is a continuous duty shredder so that is a plus.• Small Bin – The bin only holds 13-gallons of shredded particles. This is a small bin for an office shredder. If the office workers do not use the machine very often, it may take a lot longer to fill the bin.Write a review
