The Formax FD 8500AF Auto-Feed Office Shredder features a dedicated Auto-Feed Hopper which allows users to load up to 175 sheets up to 11” x 17” and can accommodate 16-18 sheets at a time with 16” width, press the start button and walk away no more standing in front of the shredder. It comes with commercial-grade feature too which includes an easy to use LED Control Panel with load indicator, heat-treated steel blades, a steel cabinet, lifetime guaranteed waste bin, and a powerful AC geared-motor which ensures years of reliable performance. It can shred staples, paper clips and credit cards in hand-feed throat Manual Function can be used to shred paper or films which cannot be detected by the sensor. The Safety Circuit Breaker ensures safe operation. The Formax FD 8500AF comes with the speed of 33 feet per minute.

The FD 8500AF paper shredder is truly an amazing shredder that has transformed my office in a way that I never thought possible. It is almost as if I have an extra worker in the office, but I really do not. This has to be one of the best papers shredders on the market.
I have many confidential documents that require shredding on a daily basis. My secretary has so many daily responsibilities that it is nearly impossible for her to keep up with the daily shredding requirements. She can now place up to 175 pieces of paper that are up to #20 thickness and walk away to finish her other duties. The shredder continues to grab 18 sheets of paper at a time until the stack is complete. She saves a great deal of time because the shredder also slices through paper clips and staples with ease. This feature saves a great deal of time.
The paper shredder is made of study materials. The blades are made of heavy-duty stainless steel. The majority of this machine is made of metal, and the shredder does not require any cool down time to work properly. The auto reverse function works wonders when papers get jammed in the blades. It takes just a few seconds to get the shredder back to working properly. This shredder has made my life easier. It is an amazing piece of equipment for the price that I paid.
