I was impressed with this machine from the time I pulled it out of the box. It is made of strong, durable material that I expect to last a very long time. It has some very impressive specifications for a shredder this size. I am very meticulous when it comes to electronic devices so I had very specific criteria in mind when I order the shredder.
I wanted a machine with a reasonable shredding ability. I shredded a few hundred documents when I first purchased the machine. It did a wonderful job of shredding the documents for me. It has the ability to shred certain types of media as well. I only use it for shredding document, but this is a great buy for those who shred this type of material on a regular basis.
The continuous motor will shut off the shredder to cool off before using it again. I was not discouraged by this because I purchase this level 3 security machine to shred my most personal documents. I do not expect ever to push the machine to the point where it requires a temporary shutdown.
The feeding throat is reasonable for a shredder this size. 9.5-inches are wide enough for the types of papers that I shred. The bin can hold 8.8 gallons of shredded material. The bin is small, but cross cut bins do not require dumping very often. I am proud of my purchase. I like the strong power that this machine has to offer.
