The Intimus 45cc3 is a great investment for small businesses that need a reliable machine. I had very specific criteria when I begin looking for a new shredder. Many companies make promises that their machinery cannot quite fulfill. The Intimus shredder gave me what I needed in a piece of office equipment and so much more. I used to hate how the old shredder would crumple the paper as it passed through the feeding area. The result was a paper jam that would take forever for me to clear. This shredder has a feeding area that is over 10-inches wide. This is wide enough to fit the regular sized sheets of paper that I need shredded. The pages go through with ease, and I no longer have the crumpling problem. The machine is not rated for continuous use. I do not plan to use the machine to shred more than a few hundred pages at once. This is not the right machine to invest in for companies that require a machine to shred thousands of pages in a day. The manufacturer does make other heavy-duty machines that may be the right fit. The machine has the ability to shred paper and various forms of media. I do not require the use of this feature, but it is good for businesses that keep confidential customer information on CDs, floppy disks, and DVDs. I must say that I am pleased with my purchase. The machine is strong and durable, and I am confident that I will own this machine for a long time.Write a review
