SDP-860 digital presenter is a new innovation of Samsung which has been developing innovative technologies for enhancing quality education and learning experience. Samsung SDP-860 is a high performance and economical class-room solution having the capability of shooting and viewing high quality still shots and movies with audios. It offers crystal clear image quality with its 1.39 megapixels camera which is further enhanced by the use of proprietary advanced ISP chip set with 2D/3D noise reduction technology for ultimate clarity even in low light environment. The moving pictures are recorded with true SXGA resolution at the rate of 30 frames per second so as to display shots in a smooth flow without any distraction or distortion.

Samsung SDP-860 features powerful 48x zoom along with 6x optical and 8x digital zoom. It also includes easy to use auto-focus function which does automatic and accurate image adjustment. It allows showing even the most intricate details with ultimate clarity. It also allows making images of even A3 size documents by using optical lens with autofocus calibration. For enhanced operational convenience, Samsung SDP-860 is loaded with various features. Its design consists of multiple joints. It features page detection menu which offers motion detection capabilities and automatically save the book pages when A4 documents are viewed through it. Its flexible arm and camera head allows it to capture and display anything from any angle present in the room. It supports DVI output and 16:9 display. This feature enables users to connect it with PDP and LCD devices from more clear and lively display.

It is SD Card ready and can accept SDHC card up to 32 GB capacity for storing still shots or videos with sound up to 640 x 512 at 30fps. The images can be saved in either Bmp or jpeg format and the videos can be saved in .mpeg format. Weighing only 7.72 lbs, it is too portable and can be easily set anywhere. A remote control is also included in the package which allows controlling the digital presenter from anywhere in the class-room.
