The Clary 4000S Industrial Strip Cut Paper Shredder is designed for shredding large amounts and continuous operation. The material to shred is fed via a conveyor belt, for optimum loading and maximum through puts. The design consists of a practical loading table for simple loading, touch-sensitive keypad for continuous and reverse operation, auto-stop with LED for full collecting bag, automatic reverse for paper jams, convenient trolley with extremely sturdy reusable collection bag, very sturdy gear motor with chain drive for maximum through puts, and wheels for easy transport. It has an intake width of 428 mm, container volume: 460 liters (optionally available with 2 collection bags each with a volume of 230 liters, for considerably easier handling), and the machine height is 1650 mm. Table extension available as accessory upon request.

• The 4000S has been redesigned from the original FA-400 and incorporates a larger internal shred container that can be split into two sections for easier removal of shredded material.
• The shred capacity has been increased in both the strip cut and the particle cut versions.
• Many safety features are incorporated by using multiple switches to limit operator access to potentially dangerous areas during the shredding process.
• In addition to shredding both individual sheets and continuous forms, the4000S will also shred materials such as CD's, floppy disks, credit cards, licenses and chip cards.
• The4000S can be combined with the Model 40VL vertical baler for a very effective shredder/baler combination.
• The 40VL vertical baler allows the4000S to shred directly into the baler and is contained by either a cardboard box or plastic bags.
