The new Kobra 260 TS C2 Cross Cut Shredder can shred Papers, CDs, credit cards and DVDs. It has an Interactive Touch Screen Panel. Controls are activated by touching the panel. If you need to shred some transparent material, keep the finger on the "forward" button for 5 seconds and the machine will operate for 30 seconds. The Kobra 260 TS C2 has an "Electronic Power Control" system which displays the shredding load so that the user can adjust the settings for optimized performance. This shredder allows to achieve high shredding loads by consuming low power since the blade edges have been replaced with the new ones for the carbon hardened cutting knives.
The new Kobra 260 TS C2 comes with the most efficient Energy saving system in the world known as "Energy Smart". This system allows to shredder to go to Standby mode if it is left idle for 8 seconds. The machine restarts as soon as new material is inserted into it. The shredder disconnects itself from the mains power supply if the shredder is left idle for hours. The Kobra 260 TS C2 has a "Super Potential Power System" which consists of a metal chain drive system and sturdy steel gears which are highly reliable and do not wear out as quickly as the plastic chain drive systems.
The new Kobra 260 TS C2 Cross cut shredder consists of two sets of cutting knives to allow separate shredding of CDs, credit cards, DVDs and papers. The shredded material is then separated into two bins. This shredder has an Automatic Reverse System which puts the shredder in Automatic Reverse if extra material is inserted.
The Kobra 260 TS C2 can be fitted with an Automatic Oiling System which oils the cutting knives automatically. This Shredder has an advanced metal detection system known as "Shred Guard" which gives a warning when a metal object is inserted into the Shredder. It stops itself before the metal object can reach the cutting knives. It has an Optical indicator which warns the user to remove the metal objects in order to protect the knives.
