Martin Yale Intimus 175CC3 is a cross-cut shredder having security level 3. It is a high volume and medium security shredder that can very well serve the shredding needs of organizations worldwide. It is a multimedia shredder which can not only shred paper but also CDs, Floppies, paper clips and staples. With the speed of 19.69 ft/min and sheet capacity of 50-55 sheets, it can shred about 1111 sheets (70 g/m2) per minute. With 16 inch feed opening, it can also shred A3 paper size. You can operate it for quite a long time. It alerts the user and stop functioning when it needs cool down time. Just after 15 to 20 minutes cool down period, it is again ready for use.

A 46.23 gallon capacity catch basket is provided for holding shredding waste. The shredder does not work with full catch basket or if the door is opened. Being an energy efficient shredder, it also has in-built power saving mechanism which switches off the shredder after 5 minutes of inactivity to save the power. It also features DLS (Dynamic Load Sensor) technology to deal with paper jams. The DLS detects the volume and releases the overfed papers so that the shredder can continue the normal operation. It weighs 198 pounds and is mounted on castors for easy mobility.

iControl:

• It is equipped with a button combination lock which allows only authorized personnel to use the shredder.
• It is a low maintenance shredder which automatically alerts the user when the cutters need oiling. The display control show 7 if there is need of oiling.
• The shredder does not operate if bin is open or full.
• In case of paper-jam, simply press the reverse button. It will release the overfed paper and continue the normal shredding process.
• In case the motor is over-heated, the display control will show the number 9 and the shredder will be stopped. Just give the shredder15 to 20 minutes cool down time and it will be ready for use again.
