The GT1524 provides the highest possible audio quality available in a single-channel echo canceller and features a telephone interface to turn your existing audio system into a cost-effective teleconferencing system. Its simultaneous two-wire/four-wire operation means you can audio conference and videoconference at the same time.

The GT1524 shall have a mic/line selectable input with echo cancellation to connect to a single mic or external mic mixer. It shall have a 4 wire video codec input and output to connect to a video codec. It shall have an auxiliary input and out put for connected additional audio sources. All audio input and outputs are connected with the supplied 3 pin Phoenix connectors. The teleconferencer shall have a LCD screen for navigation of the setup menus. It shall contain 7 front panel buttons for navigation of setup menus and troubleshooting.
The GT1524 shall have a DB25 contact closure/status ports for external control of the system.
It shall have one DB9 female connection for RS-232 controllability. All functions with in the GT1524 can be accessed through the RS-232 port with the supplied RS-232 protocols. It shall have password protection.
The GT1524 shall have 2 RJ11 connectors, one for a standard POTS, analog telephone line, the other as a telephone set pass through. The impedance of the telephone of the telephone line shall be 600 Ohms at a nominal level of –9 to –15 dBu. The telco shall have an audio frequency response of 250 to 3500 Hz.
The GT1524 shall have an audio response of 20 – 15,000 Hz from any input to any output.
The GT1524 shall be 1 standard rack unit space, 1.75” high and 19” wide with rack mount ears
attached.
