I had no idea that there were shredders on the market with the shredding capacity of the Intimus 16.87. This massive machine can do things that I never thought possible. It is a heavy-duty machine with a great amount of power. I am very satisfied with the performance of this machine.This is a strip cut machine. Businesses that need a high level of security should consider investing in a machine with level 3 security or higher. My business does not have confidential client files to destroy so this machine is perfect for what we need.It can shred 350-420 sheets of paper at once. The feeding area is 20 inches wide. I didn’t even know that they made machines with feeding areas over 16 or 17 inches. To my surprise, the machine can shred media, such as DVDs, credit cards, and CDs. It operates on an amazing 10 hp motor. I was confident that this shredder could take on any job after I found out about the 10 hp.Luckily for me, the machine does have a continuous duty motor. I do not like machines that must be turned off to allow time for the motor to cool off. This machine has the ability to keep going because it has so much power. Also, this is not a machine that is easy to move around. It weighs approximately 1600 pounds so it will likely stay in the first place that you decide. I have no complaints about this machine. "Great customer service, but the web site is little misleading. I completed an order for a Fellows shedder and once my order was complete I received an email that the item was not available. So I tried a different follows shedder and again another email telling me it was not available. I was pretty frustrated and confused. Why have it available to purchase if you do not have the inventory. If you put 'Out of stock' I would not have completed my order. I called your customer service to see what Fellows you had in stock. The man I talked to told me all about Fellows and their change in manufactures, thus the reason for such low inventory. I asked if he could tell me what ones they had available to sell, which he did and I received my fabulous new shedder two day s ago. So I say good job to customer service guy, because I would have probably gone some where else if it wasn't for him. "
