Shredders Security Standards
Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757. These levels have been defined under different considerations about information media and security required. For normal home use then a lower level of security is suitable. For an office where information such as personnel and wage documents are being disposed, then a higher level (cross cut shredder model) would be suitable.

"Alex, thanks very much for your clarification on the HSM shredder that I recently purchased, confirming that it is indeed the 125.2 cross-cut unit. It arrived in great shape, ready to use. began using it over last weekend and into this week. It has been a workhorse, performing splendidly. I am very, very pleased with this shredder! At the rate I am proceeding, I predict that I will be finished with the bulk of my initial shredding project long before I originally anticipated.I especially appreciate your guidance in helping me to select the proper machine for my needs, and for determining that there is a HSM service facility near me just in case I might need warranty work. The processing of my Order was quicker than I anticipated---I had my shredder wihin 4 days! You and Clary have been top-notch in my book, and I will certainly recommend you to my associates for their shredder needs. Thanks again. "
