The Sony PCS-XG80S is a high definition video conferencing codec. It comes with 2 microphones and a HDMI cable. The HDMI cable enables the Sony PCS to be connected to HDMI display to deliver superior audio and video quality. The PCS-XG80S's user friendly menu makes video conferencing easy to set up.
The HD visual communication system's features include 1080i high definition images, multi point connection, clear audio, one touch dialing, and ITU-T H.239 support. The Sony PCS is compatible with SD systems too. You can connect PCS-G50, PCS-G70 and other SD systems to the PCS-XG80 and still be able to have a crystal clear video conference. The Sony videoconferencing codec comes with dual network interfaces, one for LAN and one for WAN. The optional PCSA-CXG80 camera comes with BrightFace technology. This technology optimizes images to present them as bright images even when the light is dim.
The Sony PCS-XG80S HD visual communication system codec is perfect for business meetings and distant education. You can add a pen tablet and annotate specific parts of the image. You can also connect a computer to it to present data. Its high frame rate enables animation presentations.
