The Swingline DS22-13 is a security level-2, strip cut shredder that finds its best applications in compact workspaces. This Swingline shredder can effectively cater small scale shredding jobs. Swingline DS22-13 can easily grate paper, optical media, credit cards, staples, and paper clips. This strip cut shredder shreds at the speed of 16 feet per minute. DS22-13 generates a shred size of 1/4 inches.
The Swingline DS22-13 strip cut shredder, like the others in its family, is a Jam Free shredder as it incorporates Swingline's patented Jam Free technology. This strip cut shredder thus prevents any kind of paper jams and also delivers hassle free shredding operation owing to its thermal overload protection feature. As a result, this Jam Free shredder can shred on a continuous basis without overheating. In addition, Swingline DS22-13 comes with a feed indicator that signals if the paper quota exceeds its capacity and hence stops shredding. This Jam Free shredder automatically goes into a sleep mode while not in operation – thus saving you extra utility costs.
In the Swingline DS22-13 shredder's wire-frame waste bin configuration, paper or plastic bags can be used. This Swingline strip cut shredder comes with a bin full indicator and boasts a 13 gallon bin size. This Jam Free shredder has a 10 inch wide feed opening. Moreover, the Swingline DS22-13 can handle up to 22 paper sheets in a single shred cycle (through the manual feed mode). The Swingline shredder's cutting blades are backed by a lifetime warranty.

"Great customer service, but the web site is little misleading. I completed an order for a Fellows shedder and once my order was complete I received an email that the item was not available. So I tried a different follows shedder and again another email telling me it was not available. I was pretty frustrated and confused. Why have it available to purchase if you do not have the inventory. If you put 'Out of stock' I would not have completed my order. I called your customer service to see what Fellows you had in stock. The man I talked to told me all about Fellows and their change in manufactures, thus the reason for such low inventory. I asked if he could tell me what ones they had available to sell, which he did and I received my fabulous new shedder two day s ago. So I say good job to customer service guy, because I would have probably gone some where else if it wasn't for him. "
