The Destroyit 2604 strip cut paper shredder is an ideal information security solution for small to medium size offices. With 10 1/4" feed opening and high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts can shred staples, paper clips, credit cards, and CDs. "ECC" (Electronic Capacity Control) indicator helps prevent paper jams by indicating sheet capacity levels during the shredding process. Its automatic start and stop controlled by photo cell, automatic oil injection insures optimal performance at all times and a 26 gallon bin capacity features provides edge over other parallel shredders.

SPS® (Safety Protection System) package: electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the feed opening; "Easy Switch" control element uses color codes and back-lit symbols to indicate operational status; automatic reverse and power cut-off (avoids paper jams); automatic power cut-off when shred bag is full or when cabinet door is opened; double protection against overheating; "ESM" (Energy Saving Mode) after 1 hour of inactivity

Shredders Security Standards

Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757. These levels have been defined under different considerations about information media and security required. For normal home use then a lower level of security is suitable. For an office where information such as personnel and wage documents are being disposed, then a higher level (cross cut shredder model) would be suitable.

Description:	Best for low level security – general paperwork
Usage:	For shredding general internal document like vouchers, forms, etc

Description:	Designed for Confidential documents
Usage:	For confidential documents, such as company internal documents, personal data
Cutting:	2 mm (0.078") strips/cut (Confidential)
Standard Measurement:	Strip cut 1.9 mm (0.074") \| Particle Size 3.9 x 30 - 50 mm (0.15" x 1.18" - 1.97")
Level 4
Description:	Designed for Sensitive documents
Usage:	For secret documents, such as documents and files relevant to the safeguarding of personal livelihood or a company's existence.
Cutting:	2 x 15 mm particles (Commercially Sensitive)
Standard Measurement:	1/6" x 9/16-5/8" Cross Cut
Level 5
Description:	Designed for Top Secret - Secret documents
Usage:	Designed and approved by the U.S. Department of Defense and the Canadian R.C.M.P. for top secret shredding. Ideal for high-security requirements.
Cutting:	0.8 x 12 mm particles (Top Secret or Classified)
Standard Measurement:	1/32" x 3/8-1/2" Cross Cut
Level 6
Description:	For Highest Security - (Not DIN listed- this level of security is not listed in DIN32757 standards
Usage:	This is the highest level of shredder security currently available. Backed by the U.S. government and the NSA. Ultra secure shredding for the most sensitive documents.
Cutting:	0.8 x 4 mm particles (Top Secret or Classified)
Standard Measurement:	1/32" x 5/32" Cross Cut
