High Performing Solution
1 - Protecting against counterfeiters and physical damage. Protect your ID badges from alteration, counterfeiting and everyday wear with High Security Lamination. The Lamination Option adds durability, and gives your cards a higher level of security protection. The Visual Security Elements such as holograms and micro text, and the Overlaminate provide durability against swipe abrasion, prevent dye-migration, and shield against image fading UV light.
2 - The Reject Card Hopper saves you time and takes care of your materials. If the printer notices any improperly encoded cards, it automatically routes them to the Reject Card Hopper. This process is just before the card is sent to be printed. Otherwise the card would have continued on to the printing process after which it would have been placed in the finished output hopper, and you would have ultimately rejected it later on.
3 - Keep a status check on your print job. The SmartScreen LCD Control Panel displays print status from the moment the print command was send from the computer to the final output. If there are any errors that might have occurred, they will be displayed. This will reduce delay time as you prompted by a message right away.
4 - The Dual Card Hopper allows printing on two different card stocks simultaneously. You can design two different id card designs, and send them to the printer. The printer selects one hopper for one batch, and the other for the other batch. This not only increases production, but maintains a balance as you can send high volume batch to one hopper and the low volume batch to another.
5 - Flexible card printing and encoding technology. The Fargo DTC4500 offers single-sided or dual-sided printing with a variety of encoding and lamination options. Card printing and encoding is streamlined with intuitive controls and simple materials loading. It can encode the cards for 3 different technologies – contactless smart card, contact smart card, and proximity card reader. This encoding and the addition of magnetic stripe or lamination is done in one pass.
The DTC4500 prints, encodes, fluorescent print, and laminate both single- or dual-sided security cards at a fast speed. This makes it ideal to be used for high volume printing where quality and security are very important. The high speed performance is achieved using just one USB or Ethernet connection. The 200 card input hopper adds capacity and makes the DTC4500 ideal for high volume printing where quality and security are very important.
Versatile and reliable, on a network or working alone.
With a variety of encoding, lamination and connectivity options, the DTC4500 fits a wide range of applications, from a single ID badging station to a networked service bureau. Even the basic features of the DTC4500 are impressive, with full-color Direct-to-Card printing technology, single- and dual-sided printing, intuitive SmartScreen™ control panel, Dual Card Hopper and more.
Modular Design: Time changes quickly. Organizations grow, threats change. You would need equipment that can easily adapt to evolving needs. The DTC4500 card printer is field upgradeable, so it can adapt to changes you need when you need them.
You can add:
|An effective and affordable first layer of defense|
The DTC4500 Series printer/encoder is designed to help you easily and economically produce secure plastic ID cards that pose tough challenges to would-be counterfeiters. Fargo Secure HoloMark™ and VeriMark™ cards provide a highly effective first line of defense. These cards feature a tamper-resistant, instantly verifiable foil, permanently embedded on each card, which dramatically increases card security compared to unmarked, easily replicated white cards.
Both HoloMark and VeriMark cards are compatible with DTC4000 Series printer/encoders.
|ID cards are only as secure as the system that produces them. Fargo Issuance Security Solutions use our exclusive SecureMark™ Technology to protect the entire card issuance process. DTC4500 Card Printer/Encoders can work with all of these Issuance Security Solutions:|
