The Fellowes 485Ci cross cut shredder is a level 3 security enabled shredder and is best suited for workspaces where the need to destroy voluminous sensitive data is a key priority. The unit features a 16-inch wide feed opening thus making it highly adaptive for a variety of paper sizes. Fellowes 485Ci has a 100% jam-proof design that ensures non-stop shredding alongside its fine blade configuration that conveniently grates paper, optical media (CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays), credit cards, staples and paper clips.
Fellowes Shredder comes patented with Auto-Oil™, a lubrication technology that automatically oils the shredder blades, thereby yielding twin benefits of enhanced shredding performance and hassle-free maintenance. Furthermore, SafeSense® sensory mechanism causes the shredder to automatically halt upon sensing human contact near the feed opening. Subject to its intelligent Energy Management System, this shredder consumes up to 70% less energy in relation to other commercial shredders. The 485Ci can shred up to 28 sheets per pass and generates a cross cut particle size of 5/32" x 1 1/8".
