The Fellowes 79Ci is an ideal shredder for personal use. It is a cross cut shredder having a security level of 3. This cross cut shredder is compact and can effectively handle tough shredding jobs. The Fellowes 79Ci shredder has a feed opening of 9 inches and can shred multiple media such as paper, paper clips, staples, credit cards and optical disks (CDs/DVDs). 79Ci can shred up to 14 paper sheets in a single shred cycle. This cross cut shredder generates a particle size of 5/32 x 1 1/2 inches. The Fellowes 79Ci has a run time of 12 hours and uses the SilentShred noise technology thereby offering an ultra quiet shredding operation. In addition, this cross cut shredder includes an auto start/stop feature that causes it to initiate shredding upon sensing paper near feed opening.
The Fellowes 79Ci is a 100% jam proof cross cut shredder. This jam proof shredder senses any paper jams and activates a paper reversal mechanism. The 79Ci jam proof shredder also incorporates Fellowes's patented SafeSense® technology. SafeSense® senses any kind of human hand interaction with the Jam proof shredder's feed opening and automatically halts the shredding process for safety purposes. The Fellowes 79Ci jam proof shredder comes with a 6 gallon pull out bin which is highly portable in terms of usage. The 79Ci cross cut shredder has a sleek and stylish design and is therefore very suitable for compact work spaces.
