The Swingline CHS10-30 Jam Stopper Shredder offers a security level-6 configuration- being the industry's highest security rating in shredder machines. The CHS10-30 high security shredder can shred only paper and is compliant with TAA standards. The particle size generated by this Swingline shredder is small enough to guarantee data secrecy while making data reconstruction impossible.

Swingline CHS10-30 Jam Stopper Shredder comes equipped with the SelfOil technology that automatically keeps the shredder blades oil lubricated hence boosting the shredder's durability. Moreover, this high security shredder also features thermal overload protection that ensures a continuous shredding operation without overheating. In addition, the CHS10-30 prevents paper jams as attributed to its Jam Stopper technology and also auto reverses any stuck papers.

The CHS10-30 high security shredder comes with a 10 inch wide feed opening and a bin capacity of 30 gallons. Plastic or paper bag can be used in the Swingline CHS10-30 high security shredder's wire frame waste bin. The Swingline shredder's bin full indicator ensures the bin doesn't get overloaded.

Shredders Security Standards

Paper shredders fall into six levels of security level 1 (lowest) to level 6 (highest) as defined in DIN32757. These levels have been defined under different considerations about information media and security required. For normal home use then a lower level of security is suitable. For an office where information such as personnel and wage documents are being disposed, then a higher level (cross cut shredder model) would be suitable.

Level 6
Description:	For Highest Security - (Not DIN listed- this level of security is not listed in DIN32757 standards
Usage:	This is the highest level of shredder security currently available. Backed by the U.S. government and the NSA. Ultra secure shredding for the most sensitive documents.
