The Swingline SX12-08 shredder is a cross cut shredder. It is a security level-3 cross cut shredder and is very suitable for small workspaces. The Swingline SX12-08 shredder can shred paper, optical media, staples, credit cards, and paper clips. Having a throat size of 9 inches, this Swingline shredder can shred at the speed of 7 feet per minute. This Swingline cross cut shredder generates a particle size of 1/4 inches.
Swingline SX12-08 shredder uses Swingline's patented Jam Free shredding technology; therefore, the Swingline SX16-08 shredder can shred while preventing any sort of paper jams. Moreover, this cross cut shredder stops the shredding process and blinks in case too many papers have been fed. This Jam Free shredder saves energy as it activates a sleep mode while not in use. The cross cut shredder also features thermal overload protection which enables this Jam Free shredder to operate for longer periods of time. Swingline SX16-08 can shred 16 sheets a time via its manual feed mode.
The Swingline SX16-08 shredder uses plastic or paper bags in its waste bin. This Jam Free shredder comes with an intelligent bin indicator that blinks upon reaching its full storage limit.
