Get vibrant, High Definition cards from the reliable, affordable Fargo HDP5000
The Fargo HDP5000 ID card printer is a High Definition printer that prints superior print quality, greater security ID cards. Fargo's High Definition Printing technology produces High Definition cards that gives you outstanding print quality over embedded electronics, plus high durability and security. It is the best way to produce prox and smart cards. The HDP5000 printer/encoder is the fastest and most efficient HDP model ever. Its simple operation requires little training. The cards, ribbons and overlaminates come in cartridges that can load and be replaced in a snap. The cost of printing per card is less than what is offered by the rest of the printers. You also have the choice of dual side lamination, and the method of printing on a film that is heated on to the card saves your materials from being damaged. An overlaminate on both sides doubles the protection. The HDP5000 laminates both sides of a card simultaneously in one efficient pass. It makes the highest secure cards in the market. It can encode Contactless Cards, Contact Smart Cards, Proximity Cards, Magnetic Stripe Cards, and Bar Codes. The HDP5000 is perfect for Access control, Government agencies, Large corporations, Universities and Financial institutions.
High Definition cards deliver the highest image quality — layered on the highest functionality. HDP Film fuses to the surface of proximity and smart cards. It conforms to ridges and indentations formed by embedded electronics, and provides an extra layer of card durability and security.
For the most durability and security, the HDP5000 can apply a holographic overlaminate to both sides of the card — in one efficient pass.
With the HDP5000, all card encoding data is communicated over a single USB connection, which greatly simplifies setting up the HDP5000 for smart card applications. Supported technologies include: HID® iCLASS®, MIFARE®/DESFire, Wiegand, proximity and magnetic stripe.
The Fargo HDP5000 single-sided printer can be configured for your growing needs. The modular design of the Fargo HDP5000 single-sided ID card printer enables you to easily upgrade to duplex (dual-sided) printing, encoding technologies, and single-sided or simultaneous duplex lamination. These modules enable you to perform all of these functions in one swift pass.
Eliminate costs involved in training your users because the Fargo HDP5000 single-sided printer is easy-to-use and maintain. Cards, ribbons and lamination are cartridge-based, allowing for snap-in replacement and elimination of torn, wasted materials. Printer cleaning is just as simple; Fargo includes a cleaning roller with each ribbon purchase, making it easy to replace each time you load a new ribbon.
The Fargo HDP5000 single-sided printer provides easy-to-understand status messages and prompts via its SmartScreen LCD panel. There is no wasted time interpreting blinking lights that LED-based card printers are designed with.
With fewer moving parts, the Fargo HDP5000 single-sided ID card printer is nearly maintenance-free. Plus, it is equipped with a 2 year printer warranty, including 1 year loaner printer coverage, and a lifetime printhead warranty.
The Fargo HDP5000 single-sided printer is an ideal choice for printing on technology cards because it first prints your images on HDP film and is then fused to your card via heat and pressure. This process eliminates direct contact with the printhead and produces results that are more like a crisp, glossy photo than an everyday ID badge. In contrast, with dye sublimation printers, ribbon and cards come in direct contact with the printhead. This can affect image quality and even cause damage to your printhead if you are using cards that have smart chips, or embedded antennas and circuits.
HDP film provides added benefits of card durability and protection. First, it acts as a 'buffer' from everyday wear and tear. Second, it is highly tamper-evident. If a counterfeiter attempts to peel apart the layers, the image will ultimately be destroyed.
Your card issuance application does not have to be limited to a stand-alone badging station. You can operate your application safely and seamlessly over your network with the Fargo HDP5000 single-sided printer's built-in Ethernet connectivity and internal print server. The Fargo HDP5000 single-sided ID card printer is additionally fitted with USB connectivity.
1 - The optional single-sided or simultaneous dual-sided lamination provide higher card security for your organization. With the lamination module, you can make custom high secure overlaminate, custom secure overlaminate, and custom secure express overlaminate. These options make the card harder to counterfeit; making your corporation more secure.
2 - The optional dual-sided card printing saves you production time. The printer automatically turns the card over to be print on the back side. This saves you time as you wouldn't need to manually reload the card.
3 - The SmartScreen LCD Control Panel is a great feature that displays helpful status messages and prompts. Every time you send something to print from your computer, the SmartScreen LCD displays its status like at which stage is the job. If there is a print error, it'll be displayed here. This will save you time, as you can sort out the issue.
4 - The cartridge-based card handling is a faster way to reload or change to different card stocks. The input card hopper accommodate 100s cards at a time, while the output card hopper can hold 200 cards. If you're going to print a large batch, you would need to quickly load the cards; and the cartridge way is the fastest.
5 - The High-yield ribbon, film and overlaminate cartridges load fast and eliminate the waste of torn materials. Another distinctive feature of the HDP5000 is that everything is cartridge based. You wouldn't have have to deal with ribbon threading or torn ribbons. Inside the panels, the cartridge color coding prevent loading errors. All you got to do is just snap the roll, and load the cartridge.
6 - The Encoding options handle magnetic stripe, proximity, contact and contactless smart cards; making your cards durable. This gives you a lot of options as how you can use your cards.
7 - The USB and Ethernet connectivity with the internal print server make secure network printing. The HDP5000 is the only Fargo printer that comes with both USB and Ethernet port network connection. It gives you versatility to issue cards from a central location and print it at any branch on the network.

"Pre-sales was reasonable. Deal and price were very good and fair. Post-sales is very good as well. The good was delivered as scheduled, but I will only be able to see if everything is OK when it gets here in Brazil. So far so good."
"At first I did not think I was going to receive any help. I was redirected to the Mfg and they gave me the information I needed. I am glad the sales rep had me talk to the Mfg, this way the sales rep and the firm received my business because they did not lie to me just to receive the sale. After looking at many web sites, I went back to Clary because of the help I received and the up front salesmanship of the staff. "
